About Me
Originally from Marlow in Buckinghamshire and since having lived in many places throughout the UK, my family and I now live in a small village in Yorkshire. I live with my husband, James, and our three children; Phoebe, Matilda and Rafferty.
I have always had a passion for being creative, initially starting out my career as a Photography and Textiles Teacher at Millfield School.
About This Blog
Being the wife of a doctor, we frequently moved around the country - following James’ career. I wanted a job that I could do from anywhere; this lead to forming a career on the Internet.
In 2014, when my second baby was born, I left my job as a teacher and set up my fabric business. I drew pictures, did lots of research and found a printers in England to print my patterns onto fabric. It’s been a steep learning curve, but I love what I do.
As a lover of photography, I’m always taking photos of my children. My friends would also often ask me to take photos of their children - and so began my photography business. I now take photos for a range of businesses, whether it’s a photoshoot for an artist’s website or advertising a dress on my blog or Instagram.
If you are looking to start a business, already have a business, have a side hustle, or are a blogger/influencer (or you are looking to be one of these) then I can help. I have done it all; I can offer all sorts of training tailored to your needs - whether it be one-to-one or as a group.
