Why Everyone Is Talking About Medicube: My Korean Skincare Edit

If you’ve spent even five minutes on TikTok recently, there is a very good chance you’ve come across Medicube.
Maybe you’ve seen the pink packaging.
Maybe you’ve watched someone peel off that incredibly satisfying overnight mask.
Maybe you’ve seen the AGE-R Booster Pro being used in front of the bathroom mirror.
Or perhaps you’ve found yourself down one of those TikTok skincare rabbit holes at 11pm, watching someone demonstrate a Korean skincare routine and wondering how on earth your own bathroom shelf suddenly looks so boring.
Because I completely understand.
I am a beauty-product person.
I love trying new skincare. I love discovering products that actually make me excited to do my evening routine and, increasingly, I am completely fascinated by Korean beauty and the way Korean skincare has become such a huge influence on what we’re all buying and talking about.
And one brand that I keep coming back to at the moment is Medicube.

First of all… what actually is Medicube?
Medicube is a South Korean skincare and beauty-tech brand, launched in Seoul in 2016 by APR Corporation.
So it isn’t a brand that has suddenly appeared because something went viral on TikTok.
It has actually been around for around ten years, and its original focus was on bringing dermatology-inspired skincare and treatments into people’s homes.
The brand began with skincare products including its collagen masks, Zero Pore Pads and Red Line treatments, before expanding into its hugely successful AGE-R beauty devices. The Booster Pro launched in 2023 and helped Medicube move much further into the world of at-home beauty technology.
And this is one of the things I find really interesting about Medicube.
It sits somewhere between Korean skincare, dermocosmetics and beauty technology.
So you’ve got your serums, creams, masks and toner pads, but then you’ve also got these clever at-home devices designed around things like LED, EMS, RF and electroporation.
It is very much K-beauty meets beauty tech.
And I can see exactly why people are becoming obsessed.

Why is Korean beauty suddenly EVERYWHERE?
If you’ve been following beauty trends, you’ll know that Korean skincare has completely changed the conversation around what we want from our skincare routine.
Korean beauty — or K-beauty — has become synonymous with hydrated, luminous, healthy-looking skin and the famous glass skin and glazed skin look.
But what I find particularly interesting about Korean skincare is that it isn’t simply about covering your skin with makeup to make it look better.
The whole philosophy tends to be much more focused on skincare, hydration, layering products, skin barrier care and consistency.
Think cleansers, toners, essences, serums, moisturisers, masks and SPF.
And yes, sometimes that means a slightly longer bathroom routine!
But I actually love that.
There is something quite luxurious about taking time over your skincare.
Korean skincare has also become incredibly innovative. We’re seeing ingredients such as collagen, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, PDRN, peptides, ceramides, vitamin C and fermented ingredients everywhere, alongside products designed specifically around pores, hydration, radiance, elasticity and the skin barrier.
And then there’s the packaging.
Let’s be honest.
Korean beauty is FUN.
The products look beautiful on your bathroom shelf, the textures are interesting, the routines are satisfying and so many of the products are genuinely enjoyable to use.
Which brings me neatly back to Medicube.

Why Medicube has become such a beauty phenomenon
I think there are a few reasons Medicube has exploded across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and pretty much every beauty corner of social media.
Firstly, the products are incredibly visual.
You can actually SEE what you’re doing.
The peel-off masks are satisfying.
The pink collagen products look gorgeous.
The Zero Pore products make for brilliant before-and-after demonstrations.
And then you’ve got the AGE-R devices, which look like something from a futuristic beauty clinic.
That makes them almost perfect for social media.
Medicube itself currently highlights products such as the Collagen Night Wrapping Mask as TikTok viral, while its best-seller collection also includes the Booster Pro, PDRN products, Collagen Jelly Cream and Zero Pore products.
And then there’s the price.
Some of the beauty devices are obviously a bigger investment, but a lot of the everyday skincare is surprisingly accessible, particularly when you catch one of the regular promotions.
Medicube’s official store currently has numerous skincare products discounted, and the brand also has a dedicated Amazon Best-Selling Picks collection.
This is one of the reasons I think Medicube works so well for people who want to experiment with K-beauty without immediately spending hundreds of pounds.
And Amazon makes it particularly easy.
I’ve seen so many Medicube products discounted that I would always check the current price before buying because the offers can make a big difference.

My Medicube Beauty Edit
I’ve picked out six products that I think are particularly interesting if you’re starting to explore the brand.
And I’ve deliberately included a mixture of viral skincare, pore care, masks, collagen skincare and beauty technology.

1. Medicube Zero Pore Blackhead Deep Cleansing Mud Mask
Now this is one for anyone who loves that deep-clean feeling.
The Zero Pore Blackhead Deep Cleansing Mud Mask is designed specifically around pore and blackhead care, with Medicube describing it as offering strong blackhead absorption and pore tightening.
And I love a good clay mask.
There is something incredibly satisfying about putting on a proper face mask, leaving it to do its thing and then washing it away to reveal that lovely clean-skin feeling underneath.
This one is particularly interesting if congestion, visible pores, excess oil or blackheads are the skincare concerns you’re trying to target.
It’s the sort of product I’d keep for a proper Sunday evening skincare session.
Hair tied back.
Pyjamas on.
Face mask on.
Cup of tea.
Perfect.
And at around the £20-ish mark before any offers, it’s also one of those Medicube products that feels relatively easy to try without making a huge investment. The official US store currently lists it at $20 on sale from $24, although UK pricing and Amazon offers will vary.

2. Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask
This is the one I keep talking about.
If you’ve seen Medicube all over TikTok, there is a very good chance this is one of the products you’ve seen.
The Collagen Night Wrapping Mask is designed to be applied as the final step of your evening skincare routine and left overnight.
And then comes my favourite bit.
You peel it off in the morning.
There is something ridiculously satisfying about it.
You apply it.
Let it dry.
Go to bed.
And then, in the morning, you get to peel away the film.
It comes away as a layer — rather than you peeling off your actual skin! — which is why it looks so satisfying on camera.
Medicube currently labels the product as TikTok VIRAL, and it sits within the brand’s best-selling mask collection.
For me, this is exactly what I mean when I say Korean skincare makes beauty fun.
It’s not just:
“Here’s a moisturiser. Put it on.”
It’s an experience.
And I think that’s a huge part of why these products have become so successful on social media.
If you’re someone who loves an at-home facial, a Sunday night beauty routine or simply likes trying something a little bit different, this is definitely one I’d have on your list.

3. Medicube Zero Pore Pads
If your skincare goals are all about pores, texture and keeping your skin feeling fresh, the Zero Pore Pads are another one of Medicube’s cult products.
They’re toner pads formulated with AHA and BHA, and they’re specifically positioned around pore care. The official best-seller collection currently labels Zero Pore Pads as a “BEST” product.
I love products like this because they’re incredibly easy to incorporate into a routine.
No mixing.
No complicated application.
No faffing around.
Just take a pad and use it as directed.
They’re particularly appealing if you’re interested in the whole Korean pore care and glass skin trend but don’t necessarily want a ten-step routine every night.
And because toner pads are so easy to use, I think they’re one of the simplest ways to dip your toe into Korean skincare.
Just remember that exfoliating acids can be irritating for some people, so I’d follow the product instructions and introduce them gradually rather than assuming more is better.

4. Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum
Now let’s talk about PDRN.
If you’ve been following Korean beauty trends recently, you will almost certainly have seen this ingredient mentioned.
PDRN has become a huge K-beauty skincare trend, particularly in products aimed at hydration, skin texture, radiance and the appearance of healthier-looking skin.
Medicube’s PDRN Pink Peptide Serum is currently included in its best-seller collection, alongside the PDRN Pink Peptide Toner and PDRN Pink Peptide Cream.
I love the whole pink PDRN range because it looks so pretty, but it’s not just about the packaging.
This is exactly the sort of product that fits into the current Korean glass skin and dewy skin movement.
Think hydrated.
Plump-looking.
Glowing.
Fresh.
That lovely “I’ve actually slept eight hours” skin — even when you absolutely haven’t.
And if you’re building a Korean skincare routine, a serum is one of those products that makes sense between your toner and moisturiser.

5. Medicube Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream
And finally, we have the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream.
This is another one that I think perfectly sums up what I love about Medicube.
The texture is fun.
The packaging is gorgeous.
And it combines some of those ingredients that have become synonymous with modern Korean skincare, including collagen and niacinamide.
Medicube currently labels the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream as a “BEST” product within its best-seller collection.
It’s aimed at that lovely hydrated, bouncy, glowing skin look, which is exactly what I’m always trying to achieve.
And again, I think this is a really accessible way to get into the Medicube range.
You don’t have to buy a beauty device.
You don’t need a complicated routine.
You can simply add one interesting Korean moisturiser to the products you’re already using.

And then there is the AGE-R Booster Pro…
I couldn’t write about Medicube without mentioning the AGE-R Booster Pro, because this is the product that really pushed the brand into the beauty-tech world.
It’s much more of an investment than the skincare products above, but it has become one of Medicube’s signature products.
The device combines several technologies and is designed to support skincare absorption and give that glass-skin glow at home. Medicube describes the Booster Pro as combining functions including electroporation, RF, LED, EMS and massage, while its current best-seller collection places the Booster Pro prominently among its top products. And this is where I think Medicube has been particularly clever.
They’re not simply selling skincare.
They’re creating an entire Korean beauty ecosystem.
You have the serum.
The cream.
The mask.
The toner pads.
And then the beauty device that fits into the routine.
It makes the whole thing feel much more like having your own little beauty treatment at home.

Why I think Medicube is so clever on social media
I genuinely think Medicube is one of the brands that has understood social media beauty culture incredibly well.
TikTok loves transformation.
Instagram loves beautiful packaging.
YouTube loves a full skincare routine.
And Medicube has products that work for all three.
The peel-off masks are satisfying.
The devices are fascinating.
The pink skincare looks beautiful.
The pore products lend themselves to demonstrations.
And people actually want to show you how they use them.
That last part is important.
The brand’s growth has been closely connected with creator-led social content and its beauty devices have received significant attention from beauty media and creators. Vogue recently reported on Medicube’s TikTok-led global breakout, while the brand itself highlights its AGE-R technology and creator/media coverage. (Vogue)
And I completely understand why.
Because I want to watch these products being used too.
I’m far more likely to become interested in a skincare product when I can see the texture, the application and the result rather than simply reading a list of ingredients.

Why I keep coming back to Korean skincare
I think the biggest thing I’ve taken from the K-beauty trend is that skincare doesn’t have to be boring.
It can be something you look forward to.
It can be a little bit luxurious without costing a fortune.
And you don’t necessarily need to spend hundreds of pounds to experiment with it.
Medicube is a perfect example.
There are affordable skincare products alongside the more expensive beauty-tech devices, and the brand frequently runs promotions and bundles.
I’ve also found that Amazon is worth checking, particularly if you’re looking for a specific product because the prices and offers can change.
So before buying, I would always compare the current price and look for an offer.
